It was born from the experience of two ski and snowboard instructors passionate about these sports, Pila, and its territory:

IVAN COTTINO is a solid presence on the slopes of Pila. A highly experienced ski instructor and director of the Evolution Ski School, he combines technique, pragmatism, and vision. Off the snow, he also leads projects as a building contractor; when he clocks off, you'll find him on the (golf) green, with the same attention to detail he brings to the slopes. With a decisive personality, sometimes a bit rough around the edges but with a big heart, Ivan is the person who tells it like it is and then goes the extra mile to help you improve. With him, the right equipment, the best line, and safety always come first.

CHECCO GORZIGLIA "Old school" snowboard instructor, freerider, entrepreneur, and passionate cook. Born in Genoa with the salt air and surfing on his skin, he arrived in PILA 28 years ago and decided to stay. His balance transitions from water to snow, from surfing to snowboarding.

An old-school snowboard instructor, "hooked" on freeride, he brings real experience, instinct, and that contagious craving for powder to the slopes.

Together with Ivan, he founded the EVOLUTION SKI SCHOOL, and over the years, he has fully invested in PILA, taking over two accommodation facilities with other partners.

Today, he dedicates himself full-time to ski rental, operationally managing EVORENTAL and becoming the go-to person for those who want the right, well-prepared equipment.

INNOVATION is at the heart of all evolution, and in PILA, the change can be felt on the slopes and in the lifts.

That's why EVORENTAL is doubling!

This year we are opening RENT AND RIDE, the new rental location with a strong online focus thanks to a dedicated booking platform. The new rental point is very close to the ticket offices for the new Pila–Couis 1 gondola.

Whether you're taking your first steps on skis or looking for the perfect turn, whether you choose snowboarding in the park or freeride, it's important to be able to count on someone who can advise you on what's best for you—from your setup to your boots, from size selection to the quickest service.

Our two rental locations:

EVORENTAL inside the TH resort with direct access to the Baby Gorraz slope.

RENT AND RIDE in the ticket office plaza in PILA with direct access to the Baby Pila slope and the Chamolè chairlift.
